Coaching Terms and Conditions
The minimum coaching commitment is 5 sessions. We will plan on having one 60-minute session every other week unless we agree to skip a week for scheduling purposes.
Please know that confidentiality is very important and as part of our coaching agreement, all of what is discussed in our sessions is confidential.
Extra Time: I’m available! You may contact me in between our session times if you need coaching on an issue or can’t wait to tell me about something great. Please know that you can always reach out.
Other Discounts: As a coaching client, you will receive a 20% discount on any workshops or programs I am hosting online during the next 6 months.
Free Session: I love referrals! A referral coming from you feels like an acknowledgment that I’m doing a great job. If you know someone who could use a coach, simply refer them to me at [email protected] to request a complimentary consultation, and have them mention your name. For a referral who becomes a client, you will receive a free session as a thank you.
Self-Coaching Form (SFC)
You will receive a form template that will help you get more value from your coaching sessions. It will take 5 to 15 minutes each week to reflect on what you have accomplished, what is yet to be done, and any questions or topics you would like to cover in our next session. Please complete the SFC before EVERY session and e-mail it to me no later than 12 hours before our next session if possible. I will email you the template after our first session.
During our work together, there will be assignments that I will ask you to complete in between sessions. Some of these will require some time and thought so it is best that this work is completed outside of our time together. In addition, I will ask you to identify what you will accomplish between one session and the next. If the suggested homework is too much, just say so. If you want to achieve more, just ask. Remember, you will get results based on the effort you put into the coaching process. If you cannot complete an assigned task before our next meeting together, please let me know in your Self-Coaching Form before our scheduled time to meet so we can redesign an agenda for our session.
Session Cancellation Policy
Please make your coaching a priority. Cancellations more than twenty-four (24) hours prior to a scheduled session will receive a full credit towards another session. Cancellations within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled session will be charged in full, as I block that time for you and won’t likely be able to book another client in your scheduled time with such short notice.
Monthly payments will be made on auto-pay with the credit card you provide below. If your payment information changes, please provide the new information as soon as possible.
Agreed-upon fee schedule for this package of coaching sessions is:
5 Sessions (over 3 Months) of coaching for $750 divided into 3 monthly payments of $250. Please note that your 3rd payment needs to be made before your last session is completed.
Terminating the Coaching Agreement
If at some point during your coaching experience you’re not getting value, we will both know it. We can change how we work or we can stop. Please note your coaching investment represents a commitment to coaching and to your goals. As such, any payments that have already been made are non-refundable. However, if you do not choose to complete the sessions already purchased, you may apply the unused value toward other workshops or programs that I am offering.
I work on the basis that you are fully responsible for your own life and decisions. I will offer suggestions, options, and guidance based on my own life and professional experience, and I will work with you to identify solutions to your problems. However, any decision about a course of action is yours, and you accept full responsibility for such decisions. You should carefully evaluate the consequences of various options, and decide accordingly.
Agreement Not to Hold Liable, and Indemnity
You acknowledge that coaching sessions may be personally, emotionally, and physically challenging and that there may be occasions on which you will feel such challenges – including but not limited to frustration, annoyance, and stress. You agree to cancel any session in the event that you are not well enough to continue. You will not hold me liable for any loss or cost incurred by you (or any person related to or associated with you, including but not limited to your customers) in the event of mental, physical, financial, emotional stress, or distress (or other alignment or condition) caused either directly or indirectly in relation to our coaching sessions. You shall indemnify me in the event of any such claim, including but not limited to any claims made against me by any person related to or associated with you, including but not limited to your customers. Anything said by me – verbally or in writing – shall not be constituted to be advice of any kind, including, but not limited to, medical, psychological, legal, financial, counseling, or business advice.
You warrant that you understand that coaching is not therapy. If you are currently undergoing therapy, you agree to obtain permission from your therapist to engage in this coaching arrangement. You have an obligation to inform me of any history of mental illness or any past therapy treatment, so we can discuss if coaching is appropriate for your circumstances. If you begin therapy during our coaching, you agree to obtain the permission of your therapist to continue to be coached.
