WHY OUR TRAINING IS UNIQUE...
Utilizing sacred texts such as Patanjali's Yoga Sutra's and the Bhagavad Gita as guides we will develop a deeper understanding of the yogic path through asana, pranayama, meditation, ayurveda, and bhakti (devotion). You will develop not only an understanding of the rich philosophy of yoga but also what it means to be a yogi in the modern world.
The roots of yoga will be applied through a modern lens to look more deeply at teaching methodology, human anatomy, and physiology. Proper alignment, anatomy of the human body, hands on adjustments, developing confidence and finding your true voice will be topics that will be discussed to help us develop into better students and teachers of yoga.
BECOMING A TEACHER
Through these studies you will be able to:
• Teach a well-rounded & safe vinyasa style yoga class
• Develop a confidence in you true voice
• Understand the yogic path as it applies to modern life
• Knowledge of Yoga Philosophy through the Sacred Texts of the Yoga Sutra & Bhagavad Gita

• After the training you have the option to apply for Devotion's Teacher Apprentice Program which is a great way to get experience teaching and to receive on going mentorship and feedback.
Meditation Teacher Training
2018 Dates to come!
Yoga’s ancient roots had a rich foundation in meditation that has been lost in many modern traditions. This program will explore the many stages and techniques of meditation and mindfulness and how it can be incorporated into a modern practice and daily life. We will cover teaching methodology and language, theory and modern day research, various techniques spanning several traditions, concepts and practice, and guidelines for a personal practice. Training will be experiential in nature and you should leave with confidence to continue your own practice as well as lead meditation for others.
Share the transformative power of mindfulness and meditation with your students, family, clients, or patients to help them discover newfound strength, vitality, creativity, inner peace, and greater well-being in their everyday lives.
This Training is ideal for Yoga Teachers, Healers, Health & Wellness Coaches, Physicians, Nurses, Midwives, Doulas, Therapists, Counselors, Teachers, Social Workers, Executives, and anyone else seeking to share the profound benefits of stress-reduction with others.
